"Transsexual Christine Jorgensen is brought to life in a recreation of her only recorded interview. Being one of the first people to have sex reassignment surgery and being the first famous transsexual in America, we share an intimate insight into her life and decisions. The talented lipsynch artist Bradford Louryk struts onto the stage as Jorgensen, perfecting her mannerisms and looks; the set was very convincing, the interviewee being on a black and white telly, reminiscent of the era, whilst Jorgensen sits cross legged on a high stool conducting her interview. The audience have a rare opportunity to witness the ‘real’ Jorgensen, in her own words, away from the scandalous stories in the media."
